This week I got a lead for my hamster. He didn't really like it. I had to wake him up so that he would be a bit slow and then my boyfriend and I tried to get him to stay still long enough to do the damn thing up! Close, but no cigar.
So we left it a while. The element of surprise. We woke him up at 9pm...kind of like when FBI arrest people at 5am - Coz you don't have a bloody clue what's going on.
And I kind of got him in except by the time we tried to take a picture he was nearly out of it.
Not to mention that I basically spent £3 on a piece of string!
And the blurry blurry picture....

Also a couple of weeks ago after finding out what Bombe Alaska is I stumbled upon Fried Ice Cream. *Amazed* I wished I could try it but I doubt any restaurants where I live would serve it. If its not Stella its not on the menu. So anywhooos, we went to Chiquitos - Its a Mexican place. And they had it!!!!

In my excitement I didn't read any further than Fried Ice Crea....
I didn't read that it was a ball of ice cream rolled in cinnamon and corn flakes and then fried.

So I ended up with soggy corn flake covered ice cream in a pool of oil.

Yes. That is squirty cream around the outside. I don't know why they did that. I don't know why they did any of it. I don't mean to be ungrateful It just really wasn't what I expected.

In other news, my boyfriend bought me Spanish Coach. Its a Nintendo DS game.
Its really good. I've only learned numbers, and colours and seasons so far but I've only had it 2 days :D Its already come in really useful.

It was really hard to figure out which Show and Tells to use this week so I figured I would go with a theme. One of my favourite themes infact...FOOD!!!

So to start is my own show and tell. And I feel kind of dumb knowing that at least one chef reads this blog...Look what I can do!!!!

That's right I can cut a tomato fancy! God knows I can even make cheese on toast. Is there no end to my talent?

Now this, this is fucking hilarious! Credit to Voodoo Tofu.

I suppose this is a cheap shot and I guess gay people or rum lovers won't appreciate this, but hey, I'm neither and it cracks me up!

I got this show and Tell from aussiechef67 and to be honest he explains it pretty good in the email he sent, so I'm gonna copy, paste and relax. See Y'all next week!

"I work at a large catering venue. If you are within Australia - you know what I mean when I say - "Licensed Club" - pretty much outside of Australia - that means nothing. (Americans - think: "Country Club" Brits - think: "Resort Hotel without the rooms")

Anyway - we recently opened a new 700 seat auditorium and rather than have a ribbon cutting ceremony as part of the Grand Opening event - I decided to have a Bombe cutting instead.

So I made two gigantic Bombes which were cut by the club’s president and by the Chief Minister of the ACT with large swords.

All very dramatic and interesting. AND yes a bit retro - but that was the whole point. No one does Bombes anymore so it was fun, funky and in food "everything old is new again""

If you wanna make yourself hungry check out aussiechef67's Flickr. Yum.

Hello!!

Welcome to Show and Tell :D

As I have said send yours to Mondayshowandtell@hotmail.com

Ok here we go...

These are my ice skates that I just bought from a shop in Norwich. They are made by Edea - which is great, but annoying. Edea skates are expensive but my stoopid wide feet wont fit in any of the cheap skates. Anyhows, they are pretty good. I have only used them once so far though. I think the boot covers were a nice touch too huh? - Ruby

HAHAHAHAHAHA....am I really this immature?

Probably.Yes.

Ian says this place always makes him lol on his drive to work, apparently it stands for Byron Jackson..But I think BJ Services is much more catchy.

Petra sent in this picture of some cows. "They were scary and I tried to feed them my sandwich but the didn't want it"

Nicole:I bought this monkey from a store for my boyfriend for his birthday. I hope he likes it. His birthday is on Tuesday. Happy Birthday James!!xoxoxo

And last but by no means least is the fart joke. This was spotted on the back of a toilet cubicle door by Martin. Thanks Martin, we know you were pooping now...Hey everyone Martin poops!!! haha.

p.s Yes.

*Cough Cough*

I am totally postponing til next Mon as a got a yummy chest Infection and have had to crawl out of bed to write this.

Sorry :(
